Viki Gómez Meets WDR Funkhausorchester

Over the years we’ve seen a lot of unique and unexpected collaborations for BMX videos. This new Viki Gomez video definitely hits on both unique and unexpected. Viki teamed up with a string quartet to mix flatland riding with classical music. The two together are two things not too many people would likely put together, but it works! Flatland BMX World Champion Viki Gómez presents his tricks set to classical music for the first time: Accompanied by the WDR Funkhaus Players, he shows his BMX skills to excerpts from Maurice Ravel’s string quartet. Flatland World Champion @Viki Gomez and the four strings of the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra – an explosive mixture in true “Wheelharmony”, for which Martin Frink specially wrote an arrangement from the 2nd and 4th movements of Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major op. 35.
