Everything you need to know about submitting your video part by August 1st including music

Hunt Checklist: 25 days and Counting

Congratulations. If you’re reading this it means you went hard all summer and are ready to drop this thing.

First off: music.
If you’re looking for cleared music to use for your part, we spent the good part of the summer contacting bands for music to use in The Hunt. Just go to www.soundcloud.com and login as hello@thehuntbmx.com with the password: huntandgather

Click on “You” to check out the music we’ve gathered for you guys. There’s over ninety songs, so everyone should find something good.  Only download what you need for your edit.

20 second trailer for your video. Please click here to downlaod the graphic and place at the beginning of your trailer. In your 20-second trailer, please no music, keep it raw, keep em guessing. And upload it to your own video channel and post it on The Hunt Facebook Page!  on August 8th, 2012 ( one week after the full part deadline).

Video Part Delivery.

Video part in two versions (You'll send two video files, same part, just one without music.)

1) Fully edited video part with titles and music credit at end (please fade to black then put music credit white on black screen).
2) Fully edited video part with no titles, no music. Just the edit with their natural sound.  We will be editing the DVD intro from everyone's parts and we'd like this version with no music so we can hear the grinds, slams and groans and also master a surround sound version.

*please send in 300dpi under 10mb for the printed movie poster
*At least 3000px wide
*When in doubt stick to the composition example and send the original photo. *Please stand in front of a white of gray or white wall. See Examples.

Bonus section crash footage
If you want to have some crashes in the video but they don't fit in your video part then send them in an extra folder and we'll use them for a bonus section. We'll be giving a special prize for the gnarliest crashes that we use. Please trim the clips to 2 seconds before take off and 3 seconds after the riders stops rolling.And any other weird shit you want to send for us to use in the DVD. Just make sure you label it!
